Podcast Pusher is operated by Adrien Lipari ("we", "us", "our"). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
- Account information: Email address and authentication provider (Google, Discord, or email/password) used to create your account via PocketBase.
- Profile information: Optional background, education, and interest details you provide to personalize episode content.
- Topic prompts: The topics and prompts you submit to generate podcast episodes.
- Generated content: Episode scripts, audio files, chapter data, and metadata created by the service.
- Usage data: Basic server logs including timestamps and request metadata for service operation.
How We Use Your Data
- Service delivery: To generate, store, and deliver podcast episodes to your personal RSS feed.
- Personalization: To tailor episode content to your profile and preferences.
- Service improvement: During the beta period, prompts and generated content may be reviewed to improve content quality. Standard encryption will be implemented post-beta.
- Account management: To authenticate you and manage your account.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Podcast Pusher:
- PocketBase: Authentication and database (your account and episode metadata).
- Anthropic (Claude): AI script generation from your topic prompts.
- Google Cloud Text-to-Speech: Audio narration generation.
- VPS-hosted storage: Audio file and episode data storage.
- Railway: Application hosting.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in PocketBase and VPS-hosted storage. We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS for all communications and database-level access controls. Your RSS feed URL contains a unique identifier and is not publicly discoverable.
Your Rights
- Access: You can view your profile, episodes, and prompts through the web interface.
- Deletion: Contact us to request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Portability: Your episodes are available via RSS feed and direct download.
Children's Privacy
Podcast Pusher is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
